Does free delivery cover Northern Ireland Jerrick?

I need to check first, but it shouldn't be catastrophic.

Just seems too good to be true. Like there's a catch or something. Anyone read a review that's not from the manufacturer?

Perhaps it's only good for one jump start between charges or maybe it takes 1000 hours between charges or something...

Do you know if this is compatible with charging an HTC ONE 2014 phone?

The USB output is the standard 5V 1.0A and the 5V 2.1A

So it should't be any different than charging your phone off your laptop or any other USB device.

I know, that was what I thought when I first saw these power pack. It was like "I know what a jump pack looks like and this isn't going to work."

Until it jump start the car that have been sitting in the garage for 3 months… thats when I go "I need one of these".

So what does it actually run on, lithium ion cells or witchery?

Judging from most people reaction, it is Lithium ion cell WITH witchery. :D

I just watched the video. That unit is impressive, though I noticed they disconnected it after starting the engine but left the battery disconnected, isnt there a danger of damaging the car's electronic systems by running the engine with the battery disconnected?

Looks to work well on a nice newish Tech V8 but what about turning over a ropey old diesel that won't start on a cold day? is there any info on Crank power, as I would want it for my vans.

That is fine, once the car start you can have the battery disconnected as it is powering off the alternator.

Maybe i should redo the video as a few person have question that part.

The unit is design to jump start a petrol engine up to 3 litre.

Diesel need much higher cracking amp so it may be difficult for this small pack.

The starting crack is 200amp and goes up to a max peak of 400amp.

So how long is the charge time and how many starts before it needs recharging? There's gotta be a catch!

I discharge a power pack completely last night.

Started charging at 8:00pm, fully charged by 10:45pm.

Charge time is about 3 hours.

I would say you can start around 4 - 5 times before it need recharging.

I was showing a local garage yesterday, jump started my V8 as in the video.

He said, okay… come here.

Walk me to a stone cold Mercedes CLK320 that have been sitting for weeks in the cold with a completely flat battery (power door lock don't work).

Put the power-pack on it, jump started it… didn't believe his eye… shut the car off and jump started it again.

So it certainly can talk the talk and walk the walk… he said he was impressed. :)

There have been a few questions about the SP400 working in the cold.

Here is a video of the Super-PowerPack SP400 jump starting an ice cold Lexus 4.3 litre V8 with the battery disconnected in a freezing morning.
