So I've bought myself a Shortie (more on that later) and I've been doing a couple of bits today. One of those bits was to change the clocks over.

I dismantled the dash, did what was needed and then put it all back together again. When I went to turn the lights, nothing happened on the first click (sidelights) and on the second, only the main beam came on! No dash lights, taillights - purely the main beam!

I'm guessing there's a short somewhere, but where the hell do I start looking...??

Blown fuse in the foot well mate.

I had this after the garage did some work on my first zed.

Can't remember which fuse it was though.

Common issue, fuse box in drivers foot well, top row third fuse from left red 10 amp, when this is blown the side lights and dip do not work, a default main beam operates so lights are available in an emergency, if the fuse blows again you may have shorted something and will need to retrace your work.
