Anyone know where to get these bulbs from?...Ive never had the clocks apart but can only assume they are capless type...unless anyone wishes to correct me on that.

Is it an easy(ish) job?..anything to watch for like burning my car to the ground?

Cheers...Do you know if they are a capless type bulb?

Dont know for sure. They are just little bulbs that are held in small brown holders. I think they are like the fitting for one used in the house but a lot smaller. I think cant remember

No need to replace the bulbs Chris, I did a red conversion to mine last year by dipping them in coloured glass laquer the type you get from diy stores for doing fake stained glass, cost me £4 and have loads left still.I did all the bulbs and the clock and the air con display, also the switch gear illumination.

Jeff TT

how easy are the bulbs to get mate...is it lengthy process??

Chris

The bulbs are capless ones, standard and available from Halfords etc.

Is there a bulb in the electric window buttons? Only one of the /\ is lit up on mine.

Thanks....Im going to start pulling the dash apart then and replace them all with nice tarty red ones.

Chris

They are easy to change and you can even do it by just removing the top piece of dash that covers the instruments.

They are mounted in small plastic twist in fittings which you can reach down the back and take out.

i did it on my corsa but i used LES bulb covers from maplins there a bit dimmer but they look good i used different colours for exaple on my speedo 0 - 60 is green and 60 - 130 is red looks prity good

Excellent then..a job for the weekend....the missus will be well chuffed.....havent got time for her now I have a Zed.

I bought the dials from http://www.z32shop.de

They were 90 euro (~57GBP)

I think they only do dials in km/h though

Those are very cool eric.

They look good when lit up. You must have a good swiss bank account to afford that much petrol, its nearly showing half full.

Enough to get down the local shop and back then!!!!!

Anyone tried putting chrome bezels around the clocks, wondered what that might look like!!and if so-where to get them from!!
