Just spraying the car in a pearl, we are trying to decide whether it is pealed on the inside as well or whether it's just pearl'd on the outside? I'm sure my old z was just the outside

From the factory, Nissan only applied pearl coat to the external visable surfaces, so shut lines, under bonnet and all internal surfaces only had base coat (they didn't even have clear coat). TBH, I never liked that. If you're having it painted, just get the lot done.

OEM pearl however does have a very low concentration of 'pearl' in the midcoat, so it's not as noticeable without. Newer pearl midcoats have a much higher pearl weight in the midcoat and as such, change the appearance of the base coat more than the lower weight original paint.

Doing that though reduces the translucent effect given by having a secondary layer.

Going to take my nose panel to bodyshop to try and get them to match eh7 pearl glow yellow need front bumper side skirts and lower rear skirt and mirrors and bonnet painted what chance do I stand them being the same colour as the rest of the car .Has anyone tried to match eh7 before thanks Taff .

Is it true Nissan did not do Pearl in UK?

Mine is an import! & she is a pearl at that! IMHO but I would say that!

I'm sure you can get a uk pearl yellow not sure about white .

Nissan did sell the pearl yellow on the UK market in 1990 only. There are almost no examples of UK pearl yellows left. I haven't seen one in years.

As for the matching, a very very skilled painter might be able to match it. Paint companies issue yearly corrections based on 'average' discolouration. A experienced painter can match if they have that mix AND do enough spray-out cards to match.

Ok thanks I'll let you know how close they get it gona give bodyshop the mirrors first to see how they get on .

Make sure they match it by doing spray-out cards. Get them to try the corrected base (if available) with 1, 2 and 3 coats of pearl to see what the match is like. Each coat of pearl will darken the effect.
