I need a center cap for one of my wheels, but there's no brand name on the inside, theres markings on the rear of each spoke, the offset and width marking i understand, but here's the others...

They are made in japan

There is another 4 letter word which doesn't make any sense, it must be japanese letters.

Sorry this is a photo i have in my pc, i haven't got a close up of the wheel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Show a pic of the japanese word, I'll translate it for you.

Are you fluent in Japanese then?

Agreed Gary! Two things I'd quickly change to make it more stylish IMO obviously, either remove or replace with the stock graphite colour the swage line strip. Remove the Rallye style mudflaps. I think that would make that car more simple and stylish.

They look like Veilside Andrew V.

Although without a side profile of a wheel I couldn't be sure.

God Lexx that's the closest i've got to them on google, but it's not them mate. The car is in a friends garage at the minute, i have other photos of the car but not close up one, i'll upload some, you might recognize them from different angles.

Thats the best photos of the wheels, sorry they are a bit far away.

See the red strip around the body? Stock that should be a very dark grey almost black colour, the red is a little 80s and reminds me if my old Capri, I removed it off that as well.

Ah mate, i like that, there's wee bits of red all round the car, and there's bit of red under the bonnet, and the recaro seats are red, do you ready think its too dated mate?

I like the red line, not a lot of point in a black stripe on a black car. Nice car that one!!

Thanks pig.

It would make my day if someone could identify the wheels, you can see from the photos the rear passenger side wheel has an aluminum round plate for a center cap, only for the sticker it would look ghastly.

Nice 300Z sir!

Are they genuine split rims or just made up to look like that?

It could help narrow down the search for you.

Personally yes, I don't even have the stock one as my car is red so it's just a swagde without a colour change. It is however your car.

Thanks Art, i listen to all opinions mate, yeah we all have different tastes. Cool motor mate.

No Lex, they aren't split rims, i don't even know if i'm able to remove those screws, it would be hand when polishing the lip.

I've done that much google searching for those wheel that i'm starting to see the same ones over and over. Even if i do find the right wheel, i'm not guaranteed to find center caps, i may have to buy the right diameter cap and custom fit it to the wheels.

When you get the chance take one off and take some close up pictures and give the outside diameter, I may be able to help.

Thanks Stella, i done a search of paul g and the only similar name is paul c but his wheels are different, thanks anyway

Yeah mate, sure its no big deal Stephen, it's hard to beat the nice comments about the car but its really the caps i'm after lol

I will Paul, i didn't have a camera with me today when i was getting the writing from the back of the wheel, i didn't even take the wheel of the car to read the writing, i had white napkins in our car (family car), i felt for the writing behind the spoke, put the napkin over the writing and rubbed my finger over the napkin, which gave me a perfect imprint from the brake dust lol i then turned it back to front held it up at the sun to read what it said, lazy or what? lol

Nice looking 300 mate, I really like the wheels but don't t no the make of sorry.

Unfortunately their are members on here that like to say what your zed should look when you haven't asked for it. I agree with stellaZ this isn't very welcoming for new members and these often seen IMO comments aren't necessary.

Hi fitcy, I meant take the center cap off and take some photo's of that, as I have some spare centers from my set of Veilside Marriott wheels that are on my car.

well said

Well tbh this is a discussion board. Whilst I appreciate some people may make rude or snide comments on the rare occasion regarding other people's cars, i certainly haven't done that here. All I have done is given a compliment and said what I would do personally, I haven't forced my opinion or presented it as a fact, he can paint his car pink and green for all I care.

How do any of you know that the chap hasn't been looking at it and not liking it but putting up with it because he thought it was a factory addition, you don't.

This is three people having a twopence worth at me in this thread, which reflects more poorly on the club than me sharing my opinion openly. Not only that but I've recently been told I shouldn't help other members if it's not 100% the correct answer, the correct answer wasn't even supplied by that person. Is it not better to get some help and thoughts, I NEVER profess to me an expert than not even try and help when you do know the answer. Lots of intelligent and informed people view threads and never reply then critic people who try to help.

I'm a very relax happy go lucky guy and always try to help people out but I'm getting pretty sick of it TBH. I think I might need a 300zx.co.uk holiday I've got enough to think about ATM without being moaned at for having opinions or trying to be helpful.

Lets keep it on topic too.

I've had a good google around mate, and can't help you with the wheel type.
