Battery

I know this has been up before but I'm pathetic and can't find it. My battery is completely dead so I'm gonna have to replace it. What do you recommend. Preferably something easy to get hold of from somewhere like Halfords? Ta!!

    Costco. Bosch S5 007 silver plus £79 lifetime guarantee. They say one year but I was told to just bring it back with a receipt. Tight squeeze getting it in but fits perfect. Bought one from Halfords by recommendation from the staff only to be told I was sold the completely wrong type when I took it back under warranty. Paid over £100 for it then and because they didn't have any in stock they had to order one for an additional £60. I know costco will take it back no questions asked. Left lights on and parked her up. Came back few months later to a flat battery. Took it back and all they asked for was the receipt for a refund. Need to have membership though when you do exchange or buy a new one.

    Just having a browse on this thread as I'll be needing a battery soon as It looks like I swapped over my Zed battery on a recent shed daily driver and left it on :(

    Personally wouldn't bother with something like that. I got a quote yesterday for a Bosch S4 70amh with a 4 year guarantee for £55 from my local motor factors http://www.mpdonline.co.uk So give whoever you have local to you a buzz and see what they can do. You can get the same Bosch on eBay for about £60

    Problem you may have with Ebay is getting any sort of warranty. Even if they do agree, you'll probably have to pay for return shipping. I agree with Princeking, Costco no questions asked refund - even if you decide you want to replace it for the hell of it in 3 years for a nice new one
