I was watching a repeat of chasing classic cars. He sold a Ferrari for I think it was $1.7million, 3 years earlier it was only worth $300,000 & he couldn't sell it at that price. Got me thinking about future classics. So if you had up to £10,000 to invest in a car what would it be?

I would probably go for either a Triumph GT6, a mitsubishi Starion or a Mercedes sl.

I've hopefully got one sitting in my drive ;)

Chasing Classic Cars makes me laugh, the bloke hardly ever seems to get what he's after for them..

You're right, very rare he gets what he wants selling at auction. They're always clients cars though so he'll still get paid.

True there. Must say, he does seem to find some very old rare cars though.

Yeh, amazing what cars some people have in their garages. Or leave rusting on the driveway.

escort rs turbo from the 90s there going up in value at the mo so are r5 turbos very rare now and prices are going up for a good one

Nissan R32 GTR.

American market opens for them now and prices are increasing. I am tempted to sell the 300zx and buy one of these and sit on it for 3/4 years.

Price has been creeping up on the r32 for a while now, best most aggressive looking skyline in my opinion, although just to be different, I'd like the 4door version.

Ide prob buy another zed lol But for something different I have always liked the lotus excel or a lotus sunbeam if I could find one as my first car was a sunbeam loved it :)

10K to invest in a classic car probably BMW 850CI or Porsche 928 GTS

I saw an 850 the other day in blue for £8.5k, I really like the 8 series. They were never common and everytime you see one you go oooo 8 series.

I like these too, they still look modern when you see them on the road today.

Massive road presence, few cars command your attention but that is one of them. I have to say biast I may be but the z32 is one of those road dominating cars, whenever I see one randomly it's not just another insane dribble it's there in your face.
