Has anyone ever seen a plenum like this one?

I came across this picture and thought I would share, not sure if it has been posted before?

I do love the look of the Mid4..... I did a search and there was one for sale...... previously..... I would love to get hold of the details for one of the VG engines they used as the rocker covers, plenum, no coil packs looks interesting......

I would love to see some more info on the engine differences and the 4 wheel drive setup......

I'm actually glad they didn't make that it's not to my tastes. It looks like lots of ideas that just don't fit together, like one if those weird Chinese designed super cars. It looks like a cross between a z32 and an NSX with a bit of Ferrari thrown in for good measure. They quite obviously liked the rear lights, as it looks like they dig them out the bin for the s14. Is it not one of the ideas they thought if for the z32 looks very similar.

Apparently a lot of the design concepts were used by Honda on the NSX.....

Thats actually the second version of it. They actually made two different prototypes.

Oh and ya Honda basically ripped the whole design to Make the NSX. Though thats nothing new either. Japanese car companies have been ripping each others designs for years.

The Original Prototype that led to the Fairlady 240Z was conceived by Nissan and Yamaha they had a falling out. Nissan shelved it for a few years and Yamaha took it to Toyota and the Toyota produced the 2000GT of course it was only in limited numbers and cost Toyota to much to produce in the 1960's. Nissan took design back off the Shelves MR K came in and cleaned it up and boom Fairlady Z.

Oh and there are design cues from the Mid 4 in the 180sx not just the Z32.
