The zed itself is an undervalued car. But some people are taking the piss and over pricing their cars dramatically.

I have just sent the following message to the seller. Upfront? Definitely. True? Yes

I do not know if you are aware of the prices of the Z32. But yours I'm afraid is way off the mark. You will be lucky to get £4000 for your car. With such a poor advert and lack of information if this car sells I will be very suprised. If you wish to reconsider your price then email me back. If not then good luck, I'm afraid you will need it.

I feel this will ruffle a few feathers and I'm not out to cause an argument. So opinions below please

Seeing as YOU ASKED FOR OPINIONS:thumbup1:

I think the message you sent makes you come across a bit of a knob:blush: and if it

was my ad I would not give you the pleasure of a response. IMO of course.

Well, I must say that I did too email the seller when this went live, so it is funny you should post this thread. Here is my email which was just a quick hint to him if he was lookign for a sale...

" Hello,

Just wondering why your Zed is priced at nearly 3 x times market value?..

Kind regards,

William. "

I got a reply, which was perfectly pleasant saying he doesn't mind if it doesn't sell, and maybe it is not for me if I am lookign for a bargain. People will price things with their heart I guess rather than actual market value. I just let him know of the current market and was as polite as I could be :)

Each to their own and all that, but I wouldn't email a seller about an items price other than to make a polite offer if I was interested.

I would however and have just recently emailed a seller if it is being deliberately mis-advertised like a certain black UK spec car on Ebay at the moment.

Not the Big BHP black one?....

I think the car looks canny. I don't see it selling for that price but it might help raise the prices of our cars - and that's a good thing lol :tt2: Of course I'm also doubtful the car would sell at that price.

In regards to the email you sent the car, I think it was a little harsh and wouldn't appreciate receiving it. I agree it's fine to have your say and that, but maybe worded in a nice way which would have probably got what you meant across better. It's up to the seller what he'd want for the car and then it's up to the buyer whether they're willing to accept the car at that price.

No, not that one. Its an Irish imported car, with very low miles. States only 2 owners, but its actually 5, not that it makes a big difference, but the advert is trying to suggest that it has been owned by the Chairman of Nissan for most of its life which it certainly hasn't!

I went to view and drive this car when it was for sale a few months ago and it was in a poor state which surely it wouldn't be if the above was true.

Anyway I informed him of his error, he acknowledged the mistake and said he would correct the ad - he hasn't.

I don't think the car will mind too much! :tt2: Sorry!
