as much as its kills me to sell this, a few things have happened and I need to move on some toys, and yet again loose money on another classic car . car is in northern Ireland but can be transported to uk for £250 to £350 depending on where you are or come over and drive her home. I'm an hour and 20 mins from airports

most of you will be sick of me annoying you about this car but this is the end for a bit.

The car is 1996 series 4 with 61800 miles, mot'd to 01-04-2015 and in really good condition. Its had the manual conversion done, single piece prop, new clutch, new momo steering wheel with the correct boss. The r/h sill was repaired and the complete rear ended painted quarter panel to quarter panel and a uk spec rear bumper fitted. ( so now colour difference for the eagle eyed person) New clear rear lenses (originals in boot). I have the original alloys it came with so these are included. All tyres are like new. Genuine fairlady mats over the original mats.

didn't even sell on the bay. times are bad for these cars but what the hell. blow her out at £4500 and loose 2k on her,

failing this, time to put her into storage or break it.!!

wonder what a na would break into?

To be honest mate, times are actually pretty good for these cars, but not if your asking nearly 5k for a pretty standard non turbo.

Don't get me wrong, your Zed looks pretty tidy, but it doesn't jump out and shout best example on the market, if yours was a TT then it would be worth around what your asking for it.

Please don't think I'm shooting your car down as I'm definitely not, I know prices are slightly higher in Ireland so I could be well off on the above comments.

I agree, you're asking a lot for an NA car, the fact its a 96 series 4 will not inflate the price neither. What you've recently sunk into it makes little difference as well sadly.

No harm in trying though! It will sell, be patient.

At the end of the day it is only worth what someone will pay for it.

There are good condition TT cars, and even TT SWB's selling for less than £5k. I'm afraid until prices climb more in the next few years you will be lucky to get £3k for it.

That doesn't mean to say you shouldn't stick to your guns. Someone may go for it.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

The timing needs looking at as well if the CAS is still in that position. It could either be running about 0° BTDC, have an issue with the CAS, or be a tooth out on the belt.

Away for a while now so going to wait and let more of them disappear before it comes back out. Its a great car, shame to decommission it last week. All tucked up in a heated garage nicely on stands
