Evening everyone, quick question, i'm looking to replace my front and rear disks and pads on my 93 N/A JDM import.. can anyone tell me if they are the same size as a TT? And possibly where the best place is to get replacements from? Thanks in advance, Sam

Featured Replies

Rears are the same, fronts are smaller on the NA.

As for where from, the usual suspects - MJP (forum trader), EBay etc

Hi mate, yes same size as the TT and a few places on ebay, conceptua, being one of them off hand, the early 1990 na had smaller discs at 26mm instead of 30mm

Thanks guys, do you know what size the front and rear brakes are on a 93 N/A?

Front 280mmx30mm and rears 297x 30mm, check the vin number, bottom of seatbelt, rear carpet there is a date tag or rear light panel cover has the date stamped on it.

Mine is on a K plate, but is actually a 1990, which did orignally have the 26mm front discs and calipers, so i had a mare getting the right pads years ago until i converted to Tt brakes and calipers. As i said it was only the 1990 na that had the 26mm discs, so if yours is a genuine 1993 then the TT discs and pads are what you need.

If you're going for new pads i'd highly recommend Brembo ones. On my last Zed I got nissan OEM ones the first time and then the Brembo (which was cheaper anyway) the second time and WHAT a difference!!!

Yes they are a good deal, ive used mintex pads before, a little more brake dust on the fronts, but a good mid budget pad.
