just putting my car back together after getting the correct boss and have almost got all done.

 

My issue is the wires from the clock spring to the standard wheel.

 

Looking at the 4 way plug going from left to right, the first wire is the horn wire, no2 ???? no3 is live and no4 ??

 

anyone know if any of these is an earth or do I just sneak a new earth wire between the boss and wheel

Once again I am at work when you ask these things so I can't go take pics! lol

 

2 of the wires end up with a loop of wire connecting them, and one other gets a spade connector to take it to the horn.

Unfortunately I cannot remember which is which!

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now) 

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

 

Without taking mine off and looking which colour is which, from memory one is ignition live, one is ground, one is horn, surely the one remaining is the trigger for the airbag ?

Thanks andrewg. Now have it sorted and all is fine and rebuilt. now just to fit the japspeed exhaust and the car is finally sorted....
