I'm after buying a non turbo short wheel base but apparently these are only in Jap spec so the insurance would be more than if it were UK spec, but surely it wouldn't be more than a UK spec TT? Easy on me guys , I'm new here & even more vulnerable being an SX man, but it's only a mater of time. Would much appreciate any advice. Cheers lads.:)

Thanks Jack :) I'll give them a try next time it comes up, as well as Insurance Factory (who messed about so much last time, took so long I had to go with Hyperformance). Hmm, you're a little older than me :/

Insurance has got be one of the biggest costs/rip offs if you are not careful!!

I have a jap spec NA that costs me £900 with AON!

why dont we get Craig to sort ouy some sort of database - enter some basic details (price, company, age postcode etc) then it would be very helpful to see who is best in what areas and who is currently doing good deals

What does veryone else think? (sorry craig for possible extra work :D but it is probably worth doing if it saves you a few hundred quid!)

Hello Barry,

I'm looking into club insurance at the moment. Want to see if someone will take us serious and give us some descent quotes..............

In that case you need to start with somewhere that gives good deals. Have you tried Lifesure ?

Cheers Andy, I'll try them on Monday. Do they have an age limit thing though (30 I think)?
