Thats why there are hardly any big cc cars on the road, it different for post 2007 cars they are done on emmisions, I know people now who are saying their 2.5ltr Supras are only 2ltr to save on road tax

Not EU, Dublin government's way of raising revenue! As mentioned, maybe there's a way to tax it as a uk/ni car

Some people would give an address in the North of Ireland to get the UK tax rate.

 

You might get away with it if you live near the border, otherwise you risk revenue seizing the car,

Its nothing got to do with EU we have alwsys had very high road tax, and they seem to make up the rules as they go, my other z

Which I imported from the Uk and is a uk spec. is ONLY 365.00 per 3 months.

Probably a useful advertising tool for a custom builder or breaker. I first thought "God No!" but the more I see

it, the more it grows on me. I'd change the colour though.
