A few years ago a guy on here fitted a Mitsubishi GTO Spoiler to his 300zx. I remember quite liking the way it looked.

Anyone got any pics as i can't find the thread?

It was Anthonyd who did it. Quite novel and different, but I didn't think it looked right. Will try and find some photos for you.

My Googling skills are epic ;)

See, I failed and used the website's own search engine! MUST GOOGLE MORE! :)

Cheers Guys, I don't think that looks too bad except for the plate at the bottom for the active aero bit. It was the N/A GTO spoiler i remembered and just found this thread

I like the way the TT spoiler overhangs the edges though.

You're better off just fitting the 99-spec spoiler. It contours the car correctly. Something just doesn't look quite right on that IMO.

Got to agree with Si there.

Contemplating doing this myself.

How much do the '99 spec spoilers go for these days? Any Replicas around?

I know Dave (Car-Mad) on here used to make stuff, i got a full kit and fiberglass stock spoiler from him for my last Zed. He still around?

Great link Si,

I love the fact that you can still incorporate the third brake light.

They don't appear to list that though.

Need to do some searching.

Ideally i'd be looking for one in the UK (europe at a push)

The postage and import fees from the states are now ridiculous. Got some parts for KITT and got stung BIG time with the shipping and VAT. had no choice though, needed the parts.

Third brakelight you just buy from MJP. It's the perspex strip. UK cars always had a blank, but they're easy enough to wire in. You'll need a different brakelight module however as it'll throw up an error code.

have to say love the 99 front bumper but the 99 wing I don't like to much I would have got one my self but I don't like the way it connects to the boot its like a t shape if it connected to the boot by the edges of the wing would look great and would have got one for sure I don't like the over hang of it. shame could have been so much nicer. just thinking about if it connected to the boot like the Honda nsx it would have been so nice

after looking at several pictures of the '99 rear wing i REALLY like it and will most likely be after one. Looks very similar to the Lambourghini Diablo original rear wing.
