Hi all

Fitting my brembos and am at the stage where I connect my new braided hoses and detach the old one.

Can someone clarify where I conect too. Seems to me like there is only one place which is where the thin pipe meets the thick pipe on the drivers side its up and to the front of the car inline with the bottom of the suspension spring. Is this correct or am I wrong.?

Thanks

Ok used a flare nut spanner and spanner on the flexi pipe union but the nut wont undo its slowly rounding off ive sprayed rust away stuff wd40 but still nothing wont budge. Using 10mm flare nut wrench. Any tips? Other than give up

I have the same issue I heated it up with a small blow torch and that worked nice the pipe you are keeping is all metal so its safe the rubber part that goes to the brake it rubber but if its damaged by the heat it don't matter as its going in the bin any how I just heated it up a little didn't go mad but it work for me.

if you have rounded the nut like I did at first I ended up using a pair of mould grips on one side and the flair nut wreach on the other part

put something heat proof behind the pipe so you don't set fire to the stone chip paint in the wheel arch if you do this

that worked for me the wd40 didn't do bugger all just watch you don't set fire to the stone chip or under seal. have the hose or bucket of water near by just incase
