has anyone had a 300ZX that burnt from bad fuel injectors? I bought my car brand new in 1988, the was a voluntar recall on the injectors which I had mine replaced only to find out with the same bad injectors, when they did the recall my car had already went up in flame I have tried to contact any and all the Nissan place there is in the world. I was sent paperwork pages and pages of it. One document I had to come up with was the paperwork for the replacement of the injectors, which the dealership could not do so I was told they were not replaced. well a few years later, I have a copy of the paperwork at my home. I think this was a big cover up from my hometown dealer, they are no longer in business. Does anyone know of who I could write to again?????? Has this happened to anyone and they got help or reimbursement from it. Or am I just screwed on the whole deal. This is NOT FAIR, yes I'm a whinny butt in TN but I am unemployed and trying to come up with anything to get help until I can find a job. This is my last hope the only real thing of value that I have left, I know this is sad get a job, well I'm trying. I put in 20 yrs with the gov. only to be fired because I sent a letter saying I was discriminated against. I am Native American, but we've taken it before and I guess I will deal with it. Just when you lose a job of 20 years the employer tends to think it was my fault. Need help fast, anyone reading this please send answers on who to contact. Sorry so lengthy, and whinny, depressed, not postal yet, that comes next I hear(ony kidding here) Thanks for any help my way.

If it's a 1988, does this mean it is a Z31?

 

Most of us here are Z32 (1990 - 1996 in US I think). But you never, know, there might well be someone here who knows something.
