Ok, I have three worn t28r's sitting in my shed.

Has anyone actually fitted t28's to their car ?

I know the housing needs clocked on one, the actuator needs a bracket and you need 5 bolt downpipes.

 

Other than that what do I need and where can I get it :)

I think you need to mod the inlet housing outlet. You could have them machined the use the t28 core on the t25 housings, creating "gt525's" when you say they are worn... How worn.

generally smoking and starting to whine. no damage to blades etc or anything.

 

I can get them rebuilt for 400 quid for the pair, whereas getting them modded will cost at least double that and not yield the same possible gains.
