Well Trentham is now only a week away

 

I have booked the club stand and paid for ten passes

 

Unfortunately the passes went missing in the post. This is not as problem as the event organisers have allocarted our space and they will send me a replacement set of passes tomorrow (Monday) but this does mean i will not have them until mid week which doesn't really give me time to send them out to folks

 

Therefore I would ask everyone who is attending to meet at the Weathervane Pub Lysander Road, Meir Park, Stoke on Trent, ST3 7WA

For those who attended last year this is the same pub we met at.

 

This is an ideal meeting place as it is only about 4 miles from Trentham Gardens and is directly off the A50 trunk road. They do a very good (and cheap) breakfast, plus there is a McDonalds directly opposite for anyone who prefers a McBreakfast and a Tesco if anyone needs fuel

 

We also get to make some noise drving in convoy through the tunnel at Meir when we go onwards to the show.

 

I can hand out passes on the day - please pay me the £3.50 then. The pass allows your car plus up to two adults and two sprogs under 15 yrs

 

We will be leaving the Weathervane at 9am as we need to be on our stand by 10am and there is usually quite a queue at the exhibitors entrance

Boo! I would have loved to come. It was a great day last year. But, I'm still in Hossie.

Count me in Rich, I'll try and make it to the pub on time this year, as we got lost last time.

I'm not going to know Rich until Friday,but it doesn't look good for me now:( so to be honest mate I'd rule me out.

Not that I wish to speak for anyone else - but I think you'll also have to rule out Ian (300zx-666) owing to his recent admission to hospital.....

Im currently repainting wiper arms and scuttle panels and carbon wrapping the back of my spoiler but all should be good for sunday

Trentham is a very good day out and this is a very cheap way to get in there - normally would cost you £13 per person to visit

I am in rich sorry I forgot . I had to put a new injector in last week the car has been off the road but all ok fingers crossed

You would be better to Park up at Trentham and jump in with someone else (if anyone has only one adult in their car) as that way you get in free and can leave when you like

 

We have to go (err I mean queue up) past the main entrance to Trentham before we get to the exhibitors entrance so it should be possible. We already have two of us in our car though so can't help you directly - maybe someone else could?

If you wanna come along and want some almost free entry give me a call in the morning around 9am and I will see if someone can pick you up at the main entrance and get you in the show.

 

Other option is come to the Weathervane at Meir by 9am and take one of the spare passes - most likely you will get in anyway as there are plenty ordinary cars that do get in - they just look for a pass in the window and don't question it. I will still charge you the £3.50 though lol. Thats up to two adults and two sprogs Then just park on our club stand in the corner (we will put you in the naughty corner facing the trees lol) and no one will bother you
