Wiring near to Power Steering Reservoir

Hi Guys

I am fitting skinz on the inner wings to tidy up the engine bay

On the attached pic could someone just confirm.....

I cut off the metal pipe B and attach it to rubber pipe A

I can then remove the HICAS cylinders

Does the other rubber pipe coming from the sterring fluid reservoir go to the clutch?

The three unused connectors pointed at by the purple arrows C - are these redundant (to do with when car was an auto) and can I get rid of these connectors

What is the other wire I labelled X? It attaches to a wire that is taped up with insulting tape which looks like some modification was made here. Any ideas?

I was chatting with cheshire300zx (Paul) at Tatton last weekend and he was saying the best idea is to attach the skinz with Sikoflex. Any comments on that?

Cheers

Rich

No worries about these cables- I moved the offending connectors and hid them away behind the stainless slam panel

I've now bypassed and removed the HICAS controller from the inner wing

I got the rear sections of the inner wing skinz cut drilled and persuaded (I found a lot of swearing helped) to fit properly. - and have now taken them back off to prep for spraying

I've still got the front sections of the wing skinz to fit, I do hope that is less ball-ache than doing the back sections!!
