It works like the servo on the brakes, less effort to push the pedal...

I had mine not plumbed in for a while its driveable but quite heavy.

Think there expensive new, and would have thought they will normally be sold 2nd hand has part of manual conversion kits...

Why does your car not have one you will need one fitted to link the pedal with the master cylinder,

but u could drive it without it plumbed in, they often leak...

yer think mine is leaking and possibly making a noise plus sometime the gears espeally had to select first somtimes comes out all of the ok , but is a pain and tyring to drive in quese of traffic or in city, hate it. how much do secound hand ones go for,? ps your builds comming on very nice Terry

Cheers mate im struggling on lol...2nd hand they may be hard to get hold of cause everyone probably sells them part of a manual conversion kit,

And

It seems a few leak, maybe its worth seeing why its leaking try take it apart, I've never taken one apart so haven't got a clue whats in one lol...

Probably best to check you Vac pipes to the engine first. if these are not 100% the symptom can be the same as a leaking clutch booster. is yours a auto - manual conversion?

its leaking can hear it in the cabin and changes sound when foot is just touching the pedal

it would be the 2nd one this week with same problem

I bypassed my clutch booster About 3 years ago it started making a hissing noise under the dash behind pedals and it effected idle in the end so I bypassed it .I did look for a second hand one for a while then gave up .i know what a pain there are to fit because I've changed the heater matrix before .ive just got used to it .

well it be nice to have a proper working one ... so will put out a request see what comes in
