Hi guys justa quick question. I got my zx mapped with nistune about 6 months ago. At that time it had a cone air filter, decatted exhaust, and was pretty stock otherwise. It made 335bhp, wasnt that happy with that:(. Anyway I've since fitted bigger z centre side mounts and a new fuel pump, question is do I need another remap? And what power gains do you reckon I could get? Thanks!

Do you reckon new intercoolers are worth another map?

330 on a custom tune? I'd be disappointed with that as well, who did it?

H Dev in Horsham, had to stop because of detonation. Since then I've got a new wiring loom, fuel pump, intercoolers, and a few other bits

Well it sound like you had other issues which held you back. You should have seen much better numbers, 320 is what is expect with a generic chip and 14psi.

Have a look into the sort if numbers Noel has been getting out of people's cars in near stock cars. Go through stuff like a boost leak test etc then maybe speak to Noel, I think you will see a big improvement.

Yes to be fair the car was ina sorry state I was still learning about vacuum leaks etc. Plus my ptu failed the next day so that probably didn't help. Everything is much improved now so I think it would do better on a mapping session

I stand corrected- there is a good bit more horsepower to be had in the hands of the right tuner, even with a pretty standard-ish car.

As mentioned, check out some of noz's posts on the subject, Mikey Bean too- he has had 400+hp without massive mods.
