So I understand that dumpvalves are generally a bad idea as they stall the turbos etc etc (or something along those lines)

Someone told me that if I fitted hard boost pipes I may gate a more pronounced wastegate chatter type sound ? or is this nonsense :)

It's a case of heart over head, for those that love the sound....

 

(But doesn't that also draw subtle parallels, to all reasons why we all drive an almost 20 year old classic monster..?)

 

The drawbacks of BOVs are well documented, but the balance can be tipped by how we each personally react to this sensory input.

 

Personally I quite enjoy the added sound... But I can clearly see why another would detest it.
