right chaps my air con wont work, ive upgraded to series 2 with ecu and pod and pipes, and compressor,

had it vac/ pressurised and filled system etc 134a

compressor wont click in, fuses ok/swapped relay etc

system pressure is good tried linking pressure switch out still wont click in so pressure must be good

put direct feed to compressor hey presto works a treat and cool air

so its control side

any suggestion, faulty ecu or pod or have i missed sumat??

Still no joy all fuses good unless someone can suggest what I could be

I even tried series 1 pod plugged in still the air con doesn't operate

Only thing left is to refit old Ecu and try it

I guess if it worked before it may be the ecu, as you say try the original and see if it works.

Yeah looking like my only option as I know the aircon will work if I power up the compressor so it's got to be control system :(

there are about 7-8 fuses that are related and/or responsible for the aircon system, but the 3 main ones to check:

 

2x 15A in the footwell fusebox (middle row)

1 fusible link (afaik. the red one) for the compressor in the fusebox with fusible links.

Oh, and forgot: also check 2x 10A fuse in the relay box (under bonnet), right row

checked all fuses all ok, so still no aircon working anymore ideas,
