Z weight ?

Featured Replies

Only the SWB slick-top to my knowledge....

I doubt there was an intentional road-going light weight variant straight from the factory - as the 300zx was produced as a GT car rather than an out and out sports car....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

How light do you want it to be? Tbh compared to today's sports cars it's pretty light. Weighing in about the same as a mondeo with 2/3 times the power.

Most of the people going on Bout the z being very heavy do some from a car weighing only around 200kg less, let's be fair picking up a fat chick could be just as detrimental to your car, at least the zed isnt embarrassing to be seen with.

A common comment from Civic owners is haven't you heard of power to weight, the z is soo heavy. Some simple maths reveals 150 odd hp per tonne in the civic and 200 odd in the Z, silly kids.
