There's a thread in the how-to section if my memory serves correctly, I think you just wire it into the connections on the rear of the cluster, and both dimmers work.

I'm not sure, pick up can be those two screws on the clocks for your light circuit 12v and anything connected here will brightness adjust with the pod buttons but you're powering an inverter first and in turn then the faces.

 

I did away with my dimmer as this was fit for my previous faces which were quite bright and so adjustment was nice on rare occassions but my new glo dials aren't as bright so full brightness is not an issue for me.
