i just got a call from the powder coaters that are powder coating my petrol tank saying that after thay baked the tank and them removed all the bungs there was a melted what look liked plastic in the bottom he said it stunk bad now i removed the plastic box thing that the fuel pump sits in and didnt see any other plastic in there. does anyone know or have pics of a 300zx tank that's been cut open or have any idea what other plastic parts are in there that would have melted ?

from looking around i think in the lining of the inside of the tank that's burnt off am going to scrap it and start again never mind
