theres a few things that im gonna have time to look at this weekend so I just wanted to pick a few brains beforehand, my oil pressure sensor has been replaced but im still getting a low reading when started from cold its just below the 8 then once warmed its always just over the first digit after the zero someone on here said it could well be the actual cockpit instrument panel that may have corroded? If so how hard is it to remove the instrument dome?

Secondly . my steering wheel moves from left to right you can physically shift it from left and right this has nothing to do with turning the wheel had a brief look under the coloum and it appears theres a white plastic type panel with the rack going down with screws either side is this what needs tightening? Or am I looking at something else?

Thanks chaps

on the steering issue, I had a similar thing and it turned out to be a sleeve that had come back out of the section that bolts to the fire wall...

its worth checking.. and easy to fix, just pushed it back down tight and then used a small hammer (and clock) to tap it back into place.
