Help with Clutch

I was driving back to London from the Midlands a week ago when in the middle of Brixton Sat night traffic my clutch failed. Complete loss of pressure and couldn't engage any gears. Had to sit around for 3+ hrs for a low loader to come and carry me home!

I've been out of the country since and unfortunately have shoulder surgery early next week and will be one armed til mid May!

Is there anyone close to Surrey that knows their way around the Zed mechanically able to help me in diagnosing the fault this weekend? I would do it myself but a) I know very little and b) the car is in the garage which sits on an incline so I won't be able to get it back in after getting it out by myself!

Appreciate this is short notice and a big ask. I'd be happy to provide food and drinks and hopefully good banter!!

If I can't look into it by the end of the weekend then I'm afraid it's going to sit broken in the garage for the next 3mths :scared:

Thanks

Vig

First thing is check the master cylinder for fluid level could be a simple hydraulic issue.

If that's as simple as checking the pot for fluid then I did that as soon as it broke down and seemed fine. Though it was night time and has been a week so will be the first thing I check no Sat when I get out to it. At least I can do that with the car in the garage!

No idea how to even check that I'm afraid. As mentioned, I'll be trying to look at it this weekend but will struggle with it in the garage

Ah ok, well not sure I'll be able to do that by myself this weekend as I won't be able to get the car back in the garage. PITA unfortunately.
