Carbon Canister removal done?

Here are some pics of my carbon canister that i removed today but need to ask a question. that is? on the removal guide it says to do what ive done in the pics, but it says in the guid im sure to leave the pipes open and not caped of.the pic of the pipe with blue tape on is there to show you what pipe i mean.this pipe when the car is running has a huge amount of suction/ vacume on it. question is should i blank it off or leave it sucking?

That pipe ends up on the back of the balance bar. If you follow it back to the bar you can then plug it at source. If you leave it open you'd get a boost leak. Once you've capped the BB side you can remove all that piping if you want to..

thought so ,cheers ,ill get rid of the other pipework laters next time when i got to remove the throttle body pipework. the other pipe can stay open i guess, theres no blowing or sucking there in that pipe. cheers steams

Why do you want to delete it? You have a front mount so no airflow issues like smic..

just dont like clutter and things in the way when working on me car. like a bit of space, becides i might be putting the oil cooler there as its a good cooling spot because of my front end. the less stuff thats over enginered that you dont need ,and of course less stuff to produce boost leaks ect. theres a few more deleates ill be doing soon enough. the next one will be my hicas deleat. compleatly gone and to be replaced with a na rear end thats sitting over at Marks place ready to be done. All that other rubbish under the wings will be gone soon enough. she will be declutted soon enough.
