Thought I'd start a build thread for my TT. Not been able to do much since I bought her but she was picked up this avo & should be at Lee Dents by now for a new engine. Can't wait to get her back! She looks a bit sorry for herself at the moment. Will add more pics soon.

Thanks mate. It looks like a car now for the first time in ages! Really pleased with that bumper I got off you.

Finished fitting the front bumper today, not a great fit but looks ok for now. Will add it to the list of bits I've still got to do. Also fitted a new battery after a bit of help from Andy, thanks again mate.

Passed the mot today after a few minor issues, blown light bulb & a few other bits. Will tax her this weekend. Still a long way to go to get her how I want her but at least I can start enjoying her now. Drove back from the mot place & realised how different a manual is from an auto, it's a beast!

Washed the car today for the first time, there were 3 years of dirt on her. Also cleaned the leather seats & then taxed her so all ready for a test drive tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait! Might fit the skirts tomorrow aswel.

I realised I hadn't really finished off this build thread so I drove down to Seacombe this morning & took a few pictures in front of the Liverpool skyline. She's driving well although she will look a bit different next year when I change the rims, fit a spoiler, put on new shocks & lowering springs & give the paint a once over but considering what she was like when she was shipped off to Lee Dents I think she looks great.
