Wide arch.....Fill in the holes to go for the smooth look?

Ok so whilst waiting for my Zed to come back home, the only part of the car I have is the front bumper.

I have been contemplating with the filling in of the 2 holes for the driving lights in the front bumper, as I think they date the car a bit.

To my mind filling them in would make the front of the car less cluttered. (Number plate removal would be even better, lol)

My car below, black Zed without holes (and number plate)

What do you guys think? Any opinions welcome!

good idea looks well better with out them lights

Pretty sure Alan (grundpa64) did this. I have seen it done elsewhere and looked a lot better. PM him - I've tried to find a photo

I have also seen it where the vent on the rear quarters has been smoothed in and that makes a HUGE difference. That's something I'd always do to one of those kits.

I've got the same bumper, I'm filling in the fog lights and the side vents before I get it sprayed. Will look so much better.

I'm not so sure!, not easy to tell without the number plate on, but I think the driving lights echo the projector lights in the main units, that said your bumper is exceptionally smooth and well fitted so perhaps it will work.....that was helpful wasn't it!!!!!

By the way, like the viewpoint your using (top of the hill at Goodwood) but swing the car round and get the South Downs in next time, Lol!

Well it isn't perfect, but will give you a good idea...

Cheers Andrew, perhaps it would look better with a number plate made in vinyl and stuck to the nose, or position it lower down in the gap below although that will get in the way of cooling the radiator

I have vents in the rear quarters that I'm thinking of filling in

I was thinking of putting the number plate further down but you're right it might reduce the air flow.

Ditch the vents IMO. They do not and have never looked cool. The car isn't mid or rear engined, the vents are tiny and just look really odd, it's the one thing I never really liked about the Strosek kit - the bizarre non-functioning vents in the rear quarters, :)

Howard!!!! Tutt tutt! Not a good look! ;)

Andrew's rending is good - I think you should go with it! :)

Personally I would lose ALL the lights in the bumper so super smooth, then incorporate the side/indicators into the head lights-but that's just me!

You could try the number plate further down Howard.
