If I were subscribed I would put it in the "for sale" section myself, however finances dictate otherwise at the moment.

Youve been subscribed before? renewal is only a tenner and a captive market for your parts

Just a blatant attempt to advertise my few things for sale, they appear every time I post......see

EDIT : Oh no what a numpty - the 7 days must of elapsed as they've gone .

How much dose eBay and PayPal charge you for selling? As it would be a tenner here for you to sell to ZX members.

So so easily to get your tenner back, you have to sell something for £115.00 on ebay with a paypal payer for you to clear £100.00, I've got a bit sick of lining their pockets and try where I can sell on here .

Well , not that my finances is anybodies business, but making the adjustment from a £70K/year job as Strategic IT manager to living on Benefits is not easy, I never thought i'd be in a position where £10 would be so important to me.

Now, selling on Ebay is easier as they don't require any money upfront, so once a sale is made i can pay the fee, not quite the same here where money is required upfront.

So Gary, as membership sec. if you could temporarily "renew" my account to allow selling only, when i make a sale i would target the first ten pounds for my renewal. I've been a member on and off, paid and unpaid for over 10 years, I'm not going to do a runner, i couldn't anyway, not with my problems...so i think i'm good for it.

I don't think thay can do it for you rich as it could bring a lot of problems from passed none subscribed members not being allowed to sell (ie you can do it for him and not for me game ) and thay wont know where thay are with paid members and none paid members thay wouldn't wont the grief it wood bring

I Think you are right ted, and in all honesty its the right stance to take, and for all those members who say "its only ten quid.." try sitting in my shoes (whoops, mixing metaphors) its so frustrating and difficult, especially since the "bedroom tax" came along, However i now find out some mystery member has paid my subscription for me. So to whomever it was , i thank you, truly, its a very generous action, normally not seen in todays society, So lets draw a line here and get on with other , more pressing things

Thanks once again to ..

Regards

Good luck Rich and a kind gesture indeed, hopefully now you can get selling and earn some dosh :thumbup1:
