The "Nissan" and "Twin Turbo" stickers are missing off the back of my car.

I've spoken to Courtesy and they have got the sticker but its either black or grey. My car is black and (unless I'm wrong) the sticker was white originally.

They told me that in USA the sticker was either one of these 2 colours, they had no white.

Any ideas? The black cars do have a white sticker don't they, or am I imagining this?

Thanks

Think you should be able to get them from Nissan in the UK.

Pretty certain on my car they are silver lettering with a black surround. The strip of vinyl under the spoiler on which they stick is black, so that would make sense.

OK now I'm even more confused!

Vinyl??

Andy - I assume your car isn't black. So is this vinyl only on cars that aren't black? Or should I have it on mine?

The ones they sell at courtesy are silver with a black surround so maybe this *IS* standard on black ones and I've been getting my wires crossed ? I don't see why it would be any different in the States

Has anyone got a photo of a stock black 300 from behind (!)

I haven't seen any other black ones in the flesh so i dunno what they should and shouldnt have.

Thanks

Have a look at page 1 of the spoilers page here

In the bottom right you can see a standard looking silver car. Compare this to the white car just above it. In the white car, just above the lights but below the spoiler, it's white. This is not stock.

On the silver car this space is black. This is stock. (click on the pics and they get a bit bigger)

This is a black sticker. On top of this sticker, you then fix the model designations (in my case as a J import, it says Fairlady on the left and Twin Turbo on the right.

From memory (as the stickers are in the bodyshop right now) they are as Andy says, silver.

PPS Luke at Zcentre can supply as can Mike MJP

Exactamundo ! There is a black vinyl strip under the spoiler, it's there to match in with the rear lights and give a kind of symetrical black, oval effect. This is definitely the case on J spec, not 100% certain for UK/US spec though, but the colour of the car does not affect the colour of the vinyl strip - it's to match the black rear panel/lights, not the bodywork colour.
