help! where abouts is this tcu located?

 

 

Its behind the kickpanel in the drivers footwell to the right of the fuse board, so you need to remove the whole panel to access it, its an apaque little box nearer the door

It's in a place that's a pain in the arse to get to!

 

I was almost tempted to remove the drivers seat to make life easier.

It is pretty easy to get to. You will also need to remove the plastic door sill cover as it overlaps a tab on the kick panel

(assuming of course it hasn't already been broken off).

Not at my age! I get the seat right back, sit or knell on the floor and put a wrapped up towel over the sill to

protect my ribs. It is not the most comfortable position I'll grant you.

well after a lot of fiddling and some imaginative position i finally hav the lights on my dash working for the first time. also found a cnnector disconnected which controlled the alarm for leaving ur lights on when u open ur door. well happy :thumbup:

There's an alarm for leaving the lights on? Getting down there first thing...had to jump start twice already, always wondered why one was never fitted lol

The lights on alarm or bong box is on the left side of the dash clock on a bracket at the rear, if you take off the top dash cover you will be able to see it.

lol, yeah mine was discconnected. was well pleased coz im always leaving the lights on

I'm having trouble just getting in and out the car, not sure the footwells will be accessible to my big head!
