I helped out a friend by mending her Parrot bluetooth fitted to her new car...... All seemed good after spending 2 hours stripping the stereo and dash, plugging back in the connector that had come out of the Parrot control unit and putting it all back together....

She gave me £20 for my time and all was good in the world......

Then I got a text this evening that her airbag light was on......

After some research when I finished work today......( good old google search ).....lol

I found out the airbag light on the dash cannot be unplugged or it causes the airbag system to see a fault...... and it had popped out when I was removing the stereo trim.....

Only way to reset this is with the VAG reset tool or main dealer..... costing about £40.........DOH.....

So I am now going to have to explain this tomorrow and pay for the reset...... this will now cost me £20 to help a friend out.......

I don't like VW's...... lol

Sorry just not having a good day as this money was going toward my Z's car tax fund........

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!
