Been think about how my Z would look with matee black wheels on it? any pic worldwide who has this? haven´t found one; what do you folks think?

Matte black is not a good look for wheels. It gives the appearance of grubby lifeless wheels. I think matte black wheels are really unattractive and remind me of steel wheels on poverty-spec cars. A very unflattering look.

Dont forget that a stack of people on will here have matte black wheels. They can look good or bad depending on the bigger picture, hell, I bet purple curtains can probably look good done correctly.

 

However you should definitely paint your wheels white :biggrin:

That Porsche looks grubby and unloved and like a blackboard on wheels.

 

The dude was asking for an opinion. Matte black imo is very unflattering like the look steel wheels with no hub caps give to a car. I certainly wasn't the person that called it 'gay'! :p

The porche does look a bit dull but that was the most expensive car I could find with matte wheels.

Yeah and even a Porsche it doesn't look good. It certainly looks a lot less expensive than it would do otherwise. :)

My last car had satin black wheels which was half way between matte and gloss, have to say I'm not much a fan of matte paint but satin black can look pretty good on the right car

I like anthracite wheels, I think they normally look pretty classy, a lot of nice beamers have them.

Anthracite is nice, but again, needs to be gloss for definition and sharpness.
