third brake light and perspex strip

curious to know if the perspex strip with the third light is meant for non turbo version cars because of not having a spoiler? asking because ill be getting a new spoiler which doesn't have a third light or space for it and not sure if its a legal requirement in the uk to have a third light.

It is not a legal requirement for a third brake light in the UK.

Don't have a clue about the other questions you asked though.

My '93 Series 2 UK came without the center brake light and Nissan didn't even bother putting the loom to it either. The tight gits  ;)
