ZX specialist around Heathrow west london area??

Hi all, just getting used to my ZX and enjoying it very much so far. Does anybody know of a ZX specialist or garage that can look after my car a bit closer to me? I live in west london near Heathrow airport. It needs a few things doing to it.

Any info would be great guys thanks a lot!!

I've owned a Z past 10years now and never came across a Z specialist down this area. What needs doing to your car?? You get great help here and more or less every issue has been spoken about already for you to get an idea and start getting your hands dirty working on your car yourself and to be honest, that is the best thing to do for non major work. Otherwise, you will end up paying alot of labour time, not get the job you want done properly and leave with more other problems. Believe me I been there.

Ok cheers mate, I've already got some good advice and recommendations from fellow members about good garages to go, I was just hoping maybe there was some where abit closer to me. I bought my car few days ago and the heater is not working, I've been told the heater matrix has been changed recently but the heating system needs some looking in to. I wouldn't even try n attempt to mess with that myself lol. The speedo keeps playing up and the needle keeps dancing around hopefully that shouldn't be too hard and finally just give it a big service and health check so I can enjoy driving it even more :)

Hi Harms,

This is the only place I know - I have never used them myself, but my (former) local garage in Gerrard's Cross used to sub-contract some of his more specialist work to them:

If Gio has recommended someone, then you can certainly rely on his testimony; otherwise you are going to have to make the trip to JeffTT or Jimmer.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Oh brilliant cheers mate. Cool I got a few places I can try out now :)

I went to them way back when to see if they knew anything about Zeds. Blank looks. Lots of Scoobies, IIRC. That was many years ago so would be interested to hear if they've changed.

Hell Mike; if that's what they were like years ago - then they're probably even worse now...

You never know, there's always scope for improvement. But that is why I like the guys like Jeff TT and Euro-Spec (I'm sure Jimmer and others also but don't have any direct knowledge) because they keep the faith.
