Has anyone got a drivers side indicator complete with bulb holder mine has stopped working changed bulb but no good, had this problem a few years ago and and changed whole unit which has worked for about five years has now gone again, is this a common problem or could there be something else i may need to check, all other lights and indicators are working, need it sorted urgent as it is my daily drive to work etc.

Any advice welcome either on here or email as check that more often.

Hey, as I understand it there are different types of indicators for the Zed...

 

there are JDM, UK and something else.. ( I think) ..

There are in actual fact 5 types of indicators.

 

JDM style 1

JDM style 2

UK spec

US spec - occasionally seen on JDM cars

JDM bumper indicators

SO what are the differences between all of these types. My JDM ones have an extra wire to illuminate the indicators which I could never understand!

Sounds like you have the later style indicators then, similar to these.

 

 

These are the earlier ones....notice the different diffuser pattern and smaller rear section which has no bulb holder.

 

 

UK/Euro indicators

 

 

US version indicators - same as early JDM versions with the exception of the awful amber sections.

 

 

JDM 99 front end - with stock smoked indicators.

That extra wire which I think is green/white will become live when you have your dipped lights on and you indicate that side ?

 

If all that is correct it'll be for the kerb light.
