2014 is the 25th anniversary of the Z32 - and we need to mark the occasion!!!

 

SO without further ado the 300zx.co.uk club, its committee, moderators and events organisers from around the country are proud to announce a special dedicated event to celebrate the milestone; that is 25 years of these fine cars!!!

 

On Saturday July 19th 2014 we are holding a mass get-together, in the centre of England (almost), at The Coventry Transport Museum and ALL members (with their families, friends etc.) are invited to join us there to mark the event!!! Bring your 300zx and park it with pride on Millennium Place - right outside the museum for the duration. Entry is free........

There are of course some minor rules though, what with this being a very public venue.... The museum requests that drip mats or trays are used if necessary (you must provide your own) to minimise the risk of oil contaminating Millennium Place; and cars are free to be displayed between the hours of 10am and 4.30pm; in fact we must all vacate the area by 4.30. Also, whilst everyone is welcome to join us, please be advised that the display on Millennium Place is restricted to 300zxs (and 240zs if we get any takers from the Zclub) ONLY. If you do arrive in any car other than your 300zx, regrettably you will have to park in any one of the public car parks near the museum. Apparently there is a car park adjacent to the museum which costs £3 at the weekend...

 

We all hope to see you there - and, so that we can gauge the number of visitors, please register your interest in the thread below!!

 

We will confirm those definitely attending nearer the time; as we will need to take car registrations of those wanting to exhibit on Millennium Place. Due to public liability insurance implications, attendees will have to be "checked off" on a pre-prepared list; so please do not leave it until the day of the celebrations and hope to turn up and be permitted vehicle access to the event!!

I plan to tax one of them for summer so in a 300 for certain. I did tax one last year but only used it twice. Need to get out more!

We have some media interest (Pistonheads Banzai ) and a UK 300zx with low miles in the condition of yours plus the added history of it belonging to the collection of the Sultan of Brunei would be of great interest to them and there readers Phil.

I usually take the Belfast to Liverpool ferry its an 8 hour crossing but less miles when you get there.

Count me as 95% in for this (subject to the Zed actually having an MOT in July...!) - we'll probably try and bunk down with my sister who lives in Warwick :)

I'll be there but can only stay for a couple of hours as I have to go to London 02 in the afternoon. I'll not have the Zed as i'll need to book/collect/return a transporter and there is not enough time. Shame as I work in Coventry and drive past the museum every day :thumbdown:

Thanks. Yeah, good timing for new stickers as i'll be wrapping the car this year so will be like a blank canvas with just Demon Tweeks and Z1 Motorsport sponsorship so far...
