I had my radio fascia resprayed as it was marked. It also has the buttons for my fog light and front parking sensors next to the clock. These were wired in and we had to cut the wires to remove the panel. I planned to fit removable connectors in case the panel ever had to come off again but have only just got round to it. My fog light and sensors now don't work so I'm assuming the wires touched while the paint shop inadvertently left them bare.

I was hoping its just a fuse but as its an aftermarket fitment its awkward. Nothing has blown in the fuse box in the engine bay or the one in the drivers footwell. ( how impossible is that one to get to?!!) any ideas where else I can look? Maybe one hidden behind the radio fascia? My mot is due next week so it needs sorting :scared:

'cut the wires' Mandy ?

Those two switches have spade connectors on them .

A couple of the wires had spade connectors. The rest had been soldered on. Couldn't get them off anyway.

I'm guessing an inline fuse somewhere. Any ideas how they were wired in? I can only assume the parking sensors have a control module somewhere with a fuse nearby. Your best bet would be to trace the wires back and see where the power has been tapped off.

Sounds like the panel will have to come back off and I will have to do some rooting around.
