OK, here's the thing..Zelda is very sad as since I bought her. Apart from a service and once over from Jeff, she's not had much attention. I do have plans for her, but my secret cash stash has been mullered by unexpected family emergencies etc.

Can anyone recommend a decent Z knowledgeable garage in my area? I Live East London.. Need to compile a to-do list to start with. Noisy ac compressor (remove?) weird vibrations (bushes?)through to creaky sounding steering wheel . Targa leak(tried everything on the forums:headvswal).

Not interested in spectacular dyno results.. ( stage 1 enough for me). I just have always loved Zeds, want a properly running Zelda with all mods being mainly cosmetic, which i can do myself.

Tempted to come to a meet, but don't wanna have to park in the next street lol.

How far away is jimmer from you? You should get some current pictures up. I'm sure I saw zeds for sale a while back with quite a pricy cash tag on her but the seller had made a few small changes which changed how she looked. She used to be a really nice looking car back in the day. I might have or be able to find some pictures somewhere

You will have to leave the greater London area I'm afraid. As said jimmers the closest in avonmouth. As for meets I wouldn't worry it's really not like that, I've turned up with different wheels at the front as to the back, no one took the piss.

Didn't read the meets bit sorry. Mate you could turn up in a rust old lads and I'm sure you'd be made to feel welcome at any meet. Good bunch on here so don't feel nervous or shy. You'd possibly even get some good ideas and some more friends to boot :-)

Pfft, not at that price and I don't like the changes that he made, hence my did Zelda get ugly thread. She was lovely back in the day.

Back on the subject of garages in the SE; both Jeff and Jimmer are about 100 miles from London - just in different directions!

 

So either one is a bit of a trek; but still worth making the trip to either if you want the best care for your ZX.

 

If you want someone a bit nearer, there is someone that MJP knows in Essex. I also believe that Gio has used them once or twice; drop either of them a PM and they'll tell you, as I cannot remember!

The guy in Essex that MJP and I have used doesn't do Zeds any more. But I have been using Eurospec in Guildford http://www.euro-spec2000.co.uk/Contact-Us/ . I used to use them way back, stopped because I found someone very local to me who ended up more useless than one-legged man at an arse-kicking contest. Since the Essex guy stopped, I remembered about Eurospec and been using them since.
