Exide Excell 3 Yr Warranty Car Battery 70Ah EB704 540CCA compared to BOSCH S4 CAR BATTERY TYPE 068 70AH 630CCA SEALED 4 YEAR WARRANTY 570 412 063

price wise its the same from euro car parts at trade price. and the only difference is the cca boch has 90cca more then the exide

If you have or can get a tradecard for Halfords, the discount on batteries is good - approx 35% the last time I bought

one.

I know I asked for trade but but he since it was bought as trade then he couldn't discount it

Exide make there own batteries, Bosch are made by Varta. Out the 2 i would go for an Exide, if however you can get hold of a Yausa then go for it!!

Exide are not the best, worked at a main dealer and te warranty claims we had from them was shocking,Varta/bosch are good but Yausa !! they are proper chocalate. We send loads back at work on a regualr basis. My zed has a Moura and its 3 yrs old now with no probs.

well didnt get a battery from halfords after all, they wanted me to pay another 65 pound for a uni part battery!! never heard of it and even worse specs!! told the manager i can get tghe same one for less then half price. anyways she was cool about it and i exchanged the battery for a 150pc tool set with life time warranty and paid another 2 pounds :D its not bluepoint but itll do just fine for now. then went to costco and bought a bosch!! she fires up with madness now!!!

they werent very helpful!! nothing in the guide book for the z so just grabbed one that looked the right size!! £80 including vat S5 007. the guy said 12 months warranty but just bring it when it goes.

Yeah that's the same one as I got. Guy obviously hasn't got a clue, the warranty is 4 years and as you may already know about the returns desk, the only question they ask is do you want cash or back on your card lol

I have literally sold thousands of batteries over the last few years, Bosch,Varta,Exide, Yuasa and cheap ones. And i can count on 1 hand the amount of Yuasa i have had back under warranty!
