Has anyone else got one of these? If so I have heard you can adjust some of the settings. Can you turn the auto-arming off as this is driving me crazy!!!!!!

Every time I have to leave it for a short while I have to leave a dorr open! Now that cannot be good for security.

I may be getting a new alarm soon. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good one with remote start?

when you say auto arming do you mean the alarm or the immobiliser part of it?

Shouldn`t have a problem with the battery, in fact the factory default for the alarm is not to have passive arming on the alarm so if you disconnect it for a few hours it may go back to default.

As far as the immobiliser goes there is nothing you can do, this is a requirement by the insurance companys that if you forget to set the alarm at least the car is protected by the immobiliser.

Remote start alarms, best with the Clifford one. The remote start is an extra that will go with the G4 range BUT, if you have a Cat1 then adding remote starting you will lose the Cat1 status.

Just noticed you have the 600 not the 606, if this is the case then find the alarm unit and on one of the sides you will see 6 dipswitches, these allow you to change some of the features on the alarm, passive arming being one of them!

By flicking this switch you can switch passive arming on or off. However you will have to remove power from the alarm for the change to take effect (disconnect battery or remove fuse).

Sorry for any confusion but this is easier than trying to program the 606.

Where will the alarm box be? The battery is disconnected at the moment to reset the ecu anyway so thats no prob!

Ivan:confused: :D

Will be in the car somewhere, black box 6"x4" with a shed load of wires coming out of it!

Can`t say where it is as we all fit them different.
