Every review I have heard about it said it was terrible. Must say seeing those scenes with London empty are really eary knowing what it is like during the day.

Any way I got my Harry Potter tickets booked so roll on Friday ;)

Stuart

The London scenes are what will stick in the mind for a long time with this movie, I loved it, though it is flawed.

Im a huge fan of Romero and this film steals outrageously from the Dawn / Day of the Dead, still go see it for what it is - a cool British movie.

There aint many of them around :)

I find reading reviews of films before going to see them always ruins them...

Enjoy Harold the Pothead and the Stoned Philosopher Stu,

:)

3 times I have been to see a film which I had no idea of what it is about. I must say that it does make the experience more exciting.

I watched A Knights Tale without knowing what the hell it was about which I loved.

I watched Dogma even before it was mentioned anywhere, and I liked it.

Also Escape to Paradice. The worse film ever.

We went & saw this last night Great British movie.

We loved it.

Jan & Fiona..

Howdee there Jan & Fi - I couldn't get Eileen to go, she hates scary movies ( and I mean eeke eek scream and out the cinema hates them) so I sat there billy no mates looking the archetypical horror film fan :)

Glad you enjoyed it,

Eileen sends her regards,

Glen

Yep have to agree with Glen, watched it at 3.00 am this morning and I stayed awake the whole way through! Top film!

No Zeds in it though!!!

Hmmm,

Sorry guys, a little off topic here, but hearing Big Roy mention that there were no Zeds in it, made me think of asking what films you can think of, where they have significant involvement ....

I'm sure it's been done before, but not since I've been on here ...

A starter for ten - Jean Claude van Damme film - pretty sure it's Timecop - there's a shiny red 300zx on the stand in the shopping mall - and it gets a pretty good amount of airtime:cool:

Anybody else think of any?

CheerZ,

John.

Yeah Roy, my thoughts too - the journey from London to Manchester would have been much easier to avoid the infected in a high powered sports car, not some clunky london taxi ! A zed being better choice than Skyline as zeds are ok on stolen unleaded where as Skylines need Optimax else they explode... and those folks in that film had enough to worry about with having to contend with detonation too ;)

Another TOP British movie to come out recently...... Dog Soldiers. More blood and guts than I've seen in a long time, and the script wasn't bad either. Nice to have 'tough' guy's on the screen without a Yank accent!

On the Z front, there was a movie on Channel 5 yesterday p.m. called Tenn Agent. I was channel hopping and came accross it just as there was a chase going on between a babe in a cream colour 300zx and some twat (the hero) in a Lotus Esprit. The Esprit lost coz it was:-

1. Driven by a twonk

2. Driven against a Z

3. It was RED ;)

There is a very nice 'Z' in the film 'WHORE' by Ken Russell(need I say more!).Unfortunately the owner is the pimp!Nice bodywork on Theresa Russell though!!
