I don't doubt the merits of the roll cage for saving one's life - but for me, I'd leave roll cages to track cars; where you are more likely to roll the car....

.....Also check with your insurance company before fitting one mate; I seem to remember in the old days, insurers would heavily load the premium if a roll cage was fitted!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

not a full cage just a a half one with the way the 300zx handles would be a bad idea. I do miss my Porsche and lotus for when it comes to handling

how much was it did the fit it or your self

Back in 2009 it was around £800 but that was for the seat mounts to and to collect and deliver. They did the lot as I wanted it to be done properly and approved for motorsport. After all, if you're fitting something that may save your life, it's not worth trying to cut corners. I think it was a good price really.

Top notch job, beautiful welding, no complaints what so ever.

Would use again.....

Just a half cage yeah? I'm very tempted with one myself but I want to retain my interior. The insurance worries me too. The fact it may save my life is the winner.

seems like we spend loads on the cars making them faster but making them safer is often over looked
