brake bleeding q

Im just wondering if anyone on here does somthing different to make a hard sure way to bleed the brakes correctly and get a hard pedal. As some might now i spent a week replacing loads of brake pipe but bleed the brakes three time now but cant seem to get a hard pedal. ive hade a new master cylinder fitted by jeff at zed world so im not cocerned that the problem lays there but im just wondered how long dose this process take to do ?how many times do you have to do to get it right and is there any sured fire ways of sorting this out. ive done it in the correct order and including the abs unit. but still cant get a proper pedal. what do you lovely lot do. And if there is anyone in the Norwich area whos done it no probs ill pay you for your time i would just like some proper brakes. bassically to soft and to much travel.? CHEERS

Are the amount of bubbles in the fluid reducing or staying the same?

I had a similar problem when I replaced my lines. I tracked it down to a slightly loose connection. It wasn't loose enough to let fluid drip but did allow small amounts of air to be sucked in. Once I'd tightened the connector up properly the problem was fixed.

i dont know mate cas i was on the peddal last time. im thinking i might visit a local aquirium shop so i can buy a 20 foot pieace of pipe so it can go back from the bleed nipple were ever on the car to the resiviour and pump away for ages to get any possible air out. i know this is the costly way of doing it but if a garage cant bloody bleed them properly then i guess im on my own so im going to try this it might take a couple of hours but a small price to pay for some brakes a.And i can observe the bubbles as well? just a thought!

im seating here in my tin box and just had a idea about me brake problem. the cars being seating here for years before i got to finishing it and as now you know im thinking what if the rubber hoses that gofrom the caliper to the copper pie may be soft old and expand under pressure. will this be enough movement in an old hose to make a peddal feel soft and spongy? may need to buy some braided lines to get rid of this thorey. anyone know the best for money to get for the 300?
