I think this should be FAO, Mark Derby, Jaffa or Bob. The Zed world needs some of these

Big crazy grilled arch radiators. That car just makes me smile till my face hurts.

Well, the car was solid but! It started with a fuel injector, then 2 wheel bearings, a propshaft then the first engine lost a lot of compression so I put in the TT engine from a rusty TT. That had the turbo fail very quickly. Full rebuild of the turbo, and the clutch failed. Then the gearbox, then it did a piston ring with one ma-hoo-sive knock/pink/det and put oil in the head and water into the sump. Then I got rid of it through Capri gear. There were other things too. It wanted for nothing and was loved as my zed is now... the ungrateful little *******.

The TT engine at 230 bhp went like absolute hell!

Pics of my Capri's are pre digital so they are kept on photo paper and not on my photobucket lol but my first ever car was a 1977 MK2 1.6GL Venetian Red with black vinyl roof Capri then after a few other Fords I got a 1987 black 2.8i special with a factory fitted X Pack body kit it was a real head turner.

cool zakspeed capris always had a soft spot for them ive a Tamiya radio controlled car of the zakspeed shelf queen of course never used it lol

Here are some pics of my Xpack 2.8i Special not good quality and you will see two different regs as it came from Kent England and after a year I put an N,I. reg on it.

I was in the Capri Club International at the time and the car was on show at the N.A.C Birmingham for two years running. The X pack kit included front spoiler, rear spoiler, side skirts and wheel arch extensions

That was the then girlfrields tiger lol and yes I would love another Capri but they are expensive now for a good one. I would love a 280 Brooklands or a Tickford.
