So i sat here on the forum and my misses came in the back of the house comming fron upstairs saying whats going on? Im like dont know ,what you talking about. the noise cant you here it. what, i go to front of house then i here my car horn, that i weird up last week for the mot going off solidly like someones flung over the steering wheel like in an accident, the only difference is know ones flung over the steering wheel, and whats more i ant got an alarm to my knowlege just an imobilser.and unless a fox has decided to disturp the car but like i say i ant got a car alarm.and live in the country. spookey ah. and whats more remember when a couple of weeks when i painted my tyres with white wall paint saying toyo proxes ,only on one tyre well today when i came home from the shop my misses said i see your not keeping the tyre markings, i said what you talking about .as it was at the time i was washing the car for some insurence photos and had some water left in the bucket so went to wash the remainder of but it didnt come of, and why would it its oil based. spooky a i think christine is ALIVE and playing games.WHATS GOING ON.

I had the same thing happen one early sunday morning and thought who the hell is that this time of the morning and it was mine lol, i pulled the fuse till i could check it out. Anyway forgot about it for a while and replaced the fuse for the MOT and all was fine until another wet morning it did it again.

 

Notice i said wet :whistling: it seems that i mus have a short or open circuit due to water ingress, most likely in the pass footwell up near the glovebox where there are some connectors. I still havent investigated properly but you could also check for corrosion on the horn relay, which may be the cause.

Deffo water onto the plugs behind n/s kick panel , had the same thing on darrens car a few years ago , the targa drain pipe had shrunk and pulled off , pulled it through a bit more , reconnected , jobs a goodun , fiddly though ! lol .
